Sit Spot is a simple practice that helps you tune in and connect with nature by observing your senses and becoming aware of your body and state of mind. You can spend as little as 15 minutes or as much as an hour in a safe and and comfortable, like a local park, your backyard or balcony, indoors with a view, or even indoors with a collection of plants. I have created self-guided printable cards to guide you through the practice. You can download them here!

The more time you spend in a place, the more you begin to recognize its rhythmsโthe way light shifts, the sounds that come and go, the beings who share it with you. Over time, your body learns to settle more easily, and your relationship with that place deepens.

๐ ๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ผ:ย Try sitting in one spot for the entire time. If you find it challenging to be still, you may choose to slowly walk. Stay present. Let the environment lead.
๐ก ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ผ๐: Consider your yard, a nearby park, or a place close to where you work. Keep it close and consistent so you can return often and notice change over time.

โข Choose a place where you feel safe
โข The more biodiverse, the more to notice
โข Keep your phone away or on airplane mode
Let this be a time to listen, notice, and simply be.
